Border 2 All Set to Dominate the Box Office With Midnight Shows and Nationwide Theatre Expansion

Since the release of Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty’s Border 2, all eyes are on the box office numbers. The war epic collected Rs 36 crore gross and Rs 30 crore net in India across 6,078 shows. The numbers broke Dhurandhar’s first-day box office record, slowing down its dominance of 50 days. 

Border 2’s buzz is skyrocketing with every passing day and is expected to hit the Rs 100 crore mark over the weekend. Its rising demand and buzz have compelled the exhibitors to announce midnight shows and nationwide theatre expansion.

Border 2 Box Office Update: Late-night Shows Announced

Border 2 has received enthusiastic praise from audiences and critics. It is anticipated that over the weekend, the action-war drama may dominate the box office. Additionally, Republic Day is around the corner, resulting in houseful shows. Leading cinema chains have already doubled the number of screenings. 

To accommodate the rising demand for Border 2, MovieMax has organized multiple post-midnight screenings, hosting back-to-back shows at 1:15 am, 1:45 am, 2:15 am, 3:00 am, 7:00 am, and 7:30 am. These screenings will not only take place on January 24 but will also extend to Sunday, January 25, and Monday, January 26, observed as a national holiday. 

This hasn’t been the first time cinema halls have embraced by several successful releases, including Gangubai Kathiawadi, Drishyam 2, Jawan, and Pathaan. Just like Dhurandhar, the overwhelmingly positive buzz behind Border 2 doesn’t seem to slow down. Starring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty in lead roles, the film will be roaring at the January box office nationwide.
