Bobby Deol’s Bandar has finally hit the cinema halls. Though it is struggling at the box office due to the clash with Varun Dhawan’s Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai and Ram Charan’s Peddi, fans and cinephiles have been sharing mixed reactions on social media. Talking about its box office collection on the first day, the crime thriller opened low with just Rs 50 lakhs. Critics and trade analysts now await the audience’s word-of-mouth to help the film gain some momentum over the weekend.

Helmed by Anurag Kashyap, the film had left audiences hooked through its teasers and trailers. Alongside Bobby Deol, the film also stars Sanya Malhotra, Sapna Pabbi, Saba Azad, Indrajith Sukumuran, Raj B. Shetty, and Jitendra Joshi in key roles. Take a look to what the audience has to share over the internet.

Bobby Deol’s Bandar Twitter Reviews

The audience on Twitter highlighted the director Anurag Kashyap’s messy, realistic storytelling. They shared that the film focuses on men’s invisible emotional burden. Sharing their two cents about the thriller, a fan wrote, “If you love cinema, do yourself a favour and watch #Bandar. What a fantabulous movie raising pertinent issues regarding biased laws in society. Anurag Kashyap, what a genius filmmaker you are. Bobby Deol, mad respect for you. Don’t miss. Highly Recommended.” Another netizen was quick to rate the film 4 out of 5 stars. The fan opined, “Bandar 4 stars/5 excellent masterpiece. On the content front, expecting #Bandar to be an absolute BANGER. Releasing this Friday, I am eagerly looking forward to watching #BobbyDeol unleash his full prowess as a performer. Directed  #AnuragKashyap and produced  #NikhilDwived.”

Adding to the streak of positive reviews, a user added, “The most powerful part of #Bandar is how real it feels. Men are expected to stay quiet and strong even when crushed by shame and public humiliation. That emotional burden is invisible to most, but very real. Men’s pain needs to be seen, not ignored.”

While some praised Bobby’s performance and the film’s hard-hitting premise, a few expressed their disappointment that direction and execution were inadequate. An X user said, “It’s a solid Interesting & Entertaining movie with a good story, but the direction and execution needed much more.”
