Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar’s horror comedy, Bhooth Bangla, is inching closer to its much-awaited release, slated for April 16, 2026. With just a few weeks remaining, the makers dropped a fresh trailer, piquing the audience’s interest. Set against the spooky backdrop of Mangalpur, Priyadarshan’s Bhooth Bangla brings forth a spectacular blend of horror and comedy. The three-minute trailer features Akshay Kumar’s character tackling a creepy mansion rocked by a vengeful entity named Vadhusur. 

Alongside Akshay Kumar, the film boasts a powerful starcast, including Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Mithila Palkar, and others in their hilarious best. Here’s what to expect from the upcoming laughter and spooky riot. 

Bhooth Bangla New Trailer OUT Ahead of Its Release  

The fresh trailer of Bhooth Bangla is nothing short of an intriguing sneak peek at horror comedy. It kicks off with the introduction of Mangalpur, renowned for temples, ghosts, black magic, and spooky mansions. The trailer kicks off with an unannounced character entering the royal palace and unlocking the horrific mystery. While Akshay Kumar leads the charge, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Mithila Palkar add to the laughter chaos. 

As the trailer unfolds, we can spot someone trying to bring the ghost back to the palace, which was cursed thousands of years ago. A London-returned Arjun Acharya, played by Akshay Kumar, is gobsmacked by the beauty of the massive and beautiful palace in the sleepy town of Mangalpur. He decides to host his sister’s wedding at his newly inherited ancestral palace. Gradually, he finds himself caught in a whirlwind of terrified locals, bizarre ghostly happenings, spooky atmosphere, and humorous chaos. Amidst the horrifying setting, he begins uncovering the shocking truth behind the mansion’s centuries-old. 

For the unversed, the Hindi horror comedy drama marks the reunion of director Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar after 15 years. The duo initially worked together in 2010 for Khatta Meetha.
