Bhagam Bhag 2: Govinda Out, Manoj Bajpayee Joins Akshay Kumar; THIS Actor Set For Double Role?

Bhagam Bhag is one of the most loved comedy films, and many people are eagerly waiting for an update on its sequel. With Akshay Kumar making back-to-back comedic films, anticipation for the sequel is soaring. The first film, released in theatres in 2006, has become a cult favourite, and its scenes and dialogue have become perfect meme material online. Well, the fans will see some major changes in the second part.

Bhagam Bhag 2 Update

The first film featured Akshay Kumar, Govinda, Paresh Rawal, Lara Dutta, Tanushree Dutta, and Rajpal Yadav. In the sequel, actor Govinda will not be appearing. Manoj Bajpayee is reportedly replacing the actor in Bhagam Bhag 2. Paresh Rawal recently confirmed the news. In an interview, Paresh was asked about the big casting change, Manoj being roped in, and how the partnership will be with Akshay Kumar. Rawal stated, “It will make for a different and unique combination.” Furthermore, Paresh also said that he will miss Govinda and has no idea why he isn’t in the sequel.

In the same interview with Bollywood Hungama, Paresh Rawal was asked if he has a double role in Bhagam Bhag 2. He confirmed the same and said, “Yes, I do, and I am excited. Maza aayega. Dhamaal hoga.”

Meanwhile, Bhagam Bhag 2 will be helmed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, instead of Priyadarshan, who directed the first part. The film also features Meenakshi Chaudhary, who previously worked in Netflix’s Upstarts.
