Sunny Deol-starrer “Batwara 1947” hit the theatres on Aug 14. The Independence Day weekend rolled over; however, the partition drama struggled to gain momentum. Competing at the box office with Emraan Hashmi’s “Awarapan 2,” Tom Holland’s “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”, and Tamil-language drama “Vishwanath & Sons,” the film has recieved a lukewarm response.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film has collected a total of net to Rs 26.91 crore so far. The partition drama is currently running across 3,235 shows. As of day 4, it has collected a net of Rs 41 lakhs, bringing its total gross collection to Rs 32.09 crore.
