After months of anticipation, the teaser of Bobby Deol and Sanya Malhotra’s Bandar has finally been unveiled. Giving fans a glimpse into the chaotic world packed with madness and mystery, the drama is all set to arrive in cinema halls on June 5, 2026. The teaser has itself generated significant buzz, leaving fans intrigued about the film’s plot and storyline. 

Helmed by Anurag Kashyap, the teaser offers a dark glimpse into the chaotic life of a fading television star accused of a serious crime. Alongside the leads, the crime thriller also stars Sanya Malhotra and Saba Azad in pivotal roles. Roll your eyes over to know what’s more in store.

Bandar Teaser OUT: What to Expect?

The official teaser of Bandar kicks off with a 90s retro-themed score as Samar, portrayed by Bobby Deol, walks onto a stage. It seems that he is trying to hold on to his fading stardom. Once a celebrated face, the actor appears to be navigating a turbulent personal life. Moreover, the 1-minute-29-second glimpse introduces Samar’s ex, Gayatri, played by Sapna Pabbi, who wants to reunite with him. However, as things begin to fall apart after Samar starts seeing a younger woman, Khushi, portrayed by Saba Azad, his world comes crashing down after being accused of rape. 

Penned by Sudip Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee, the film appears to draw inspiration from real life. The teaser also shows glimpses of his arrest and public humiliation. The preview concludes on a haunting note with Bobby Deol’s character smiling with a missing tooth. All in all, it hints at his darker side after the allegations. Not to forget, Sanya Malhotra, who plays the role of Samar’s supportive sister, standing by him during his difficult phase. 

Alongside the leads, Raj B Shetty, Sapna Pabbi, Riddhi Sen, Jitendra Joshi, Indrajeet, and Nagesh Bhonsle appear in key roles. For the unversed, Bobby Deol’s Bandar premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6, 2025. Now fans await its cinematic arrival.
