Bandar OTT Release: Bobby Deol, Sanya Malhotra’s Thriller to Stream on Zee5 This August

Starring Bobby Deol and Sanya Malhotra in the lead roles, “Bandar” is all geared up for its digital debut. The thriller hit the theatrical screens on June 5, 2026, and opened to mixed reviews. After completing its run at the box office, it is slated to release on ZEE5 and will begin streaming on Aug. 28, 2026. The streaming platform took to its official social media handles to share the update, writing, “When a man is accused, is the verdict already decided? Witness a man’s life turn upside down after an accusation.”

Directed by Anurag Kashyap, “Bandar” follows the saga of Samar Mehra, a 50-year-old former television and pop star struggling with a fading career. After breaking up with his former girlfriend Gayatri, Samar faces a serious allegation. He maintains his innocence, but the case quickly attracts media attention and turns public opinion against him.

Besides Bobby Deol, the film also stars Sanya Malhotra, Sapna Pabbi, Saba Azad, Indrajith Sukumaran, Raj B. Shetty, Jitendra Joshi, Nagesh Bhonsle, Riddhi Sen, Nikhat Khan, and others in pivotal roles. 

Talking about the box office collection, according to industry tracker Sacnilk, it opened with just 50 lakhs. It concluded its earnings by recording a worldwide collection of Rs 4.97 crore. Now, the film is all set to lay its digital imprint on Zee5.
