Baby Do Die Do Teaser OUT: Huma Qureshi to Essay the Role of Deaf-Mute Hitwoman in This Mystery Thriller

Human Qureshi’s Baby Do Die Do has generated significant buzz online since its announcement. On June 9, the makers unveiled a gripping teaser, offering fans a glimpse of the mystery crime thriller. Alongside Qureshi, the noir drama also features Seema Pahwa, Chunky Pandey, and Sikander Kher in pivotal roles. 

Carrying forward the already-established premise, the newly released teaser dives deeper into the life of the protagonist, Baby Karmarkar. She is a visually and auditorily impaired woman who is tired of the claustrophobia the city has forced her to make peace with. As a result, she moonlights as a hit-woman while working as an NGO worker for the differently abled in the daytime, carrying a deceptive weapon all along. Set to hit theatres on July 3, the film will be locking horns with Alia Bhatt, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor’s Alpha at the box office. Here’s the teaser.

Baby Do Die Do Teaser Unveiled: What to Expect from Huma Qureshi’s Crime Thriller?

The makers took to their official social media platforms to share the teaser. The caption read, “GARDI MEIN BHI LONELY HAI. SAB MEIN ONE & ONLY HAI. Baby KarMarKar jo karegi, maregi, aur phir karegi. 🔪 #BabyGardi teaser out now. #BabyDoDieDo in cinemas 3 July (sic).”  Directed by Nachiket Samant, the crime mystery thriller chronicles the journey of a deaf and mute serial killer in Mumbai who can only hear her dead sister’s voice. 

The teaser’s impact is accentuated with a gripping rap anthem titled Gardi that perfectly resonated with the spirit of Mumbai. Penned by WB Sam, the rap number is composed by Arjun Iyer and sung by Arjun Iyer and Christina Andrew. The teaser establishes other key characters, like Seema Pahwa, an inspector, who is amused by the emergence of a new killer in town. Other cast members include Sikander Kher, Rachit Singh, Vidya Malavade, Himanshu Malik, Marudhar Shekhawat, and Arun Kushwah.
