As per the reports, Arijit Singh is reportedly planning to launch a political party, but won’t be a part of 2026 Bengal Assembly Elections The Bengali film industry insiders have informed them that the Channa Mereya singer is planning to consider fighting elections at the grassroots level first.
As further reported by NDTV, the National Award-winning singer has kept the details of his political aspirations quite discreet. However, reports indicate that the process to initiate his political career has begun. But there is no such official confirmation from the singer’s side yet.
When Arijit Singh announced his retirement, he didn’t mention anything about joining politics. In fact, he made it very clear that he will be focusing more on music compositions. So until the singer doesn’t confirm the news of taking the political path, we can say these are mere speculations.
