Arijit Singh Announces Retirement From Playback Singing, “Calling It Off”
Arijit Singh, the voice of Tum Hi Ho, Dua, Kesariya, Agar Tum Saath Ho, many more amazing songs, has announced his retirement today. The National Award-winning singer has entertained and made people fall in love with music for over 15 years now. From Shah Rukh Khan to Ranbir Kapoor, Arijit has lent his voice to many top stars in the film industry.
Today, Arijit Singh took to his X page to share the announcement that he is retiring from playback singing. The Kesariya singer wrote, “Hello, Happy new year to all. I want to thank you for giving me so much of love all these years as listeners. I am happy to announce that I am not gonna be taking any new assignments as a playback vocalist from now on. I am calling it off. It was a wonderful journey.”
Arijit further thanked all his fans for giving him so much love and support. He wrote, “God has been really kind to me. I am fan of good music and in future will be learning more and do more on my own as a small little artist. Thanks again for all your support.” Singh wrote that he will complete some pending songs, which will release this year.

However, the singer clarified that he will not stop making music. To the unversed, Arijit Singh has his own music production with Orion music. Singh has composed several songs, and it looks like we will see him as a full-fledged composer soon.
