Starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh in the lead roles, Alpha arrived in cinemas on July 3, 2026. Though the film received a lukewarm response at the box office, it raked in Rs 9.25 crore net on the first day of its release. Moreover, it ran across 7,534 shows, achieving an occupancy rate of 20 percent. The seventh installment of the Yash Raj Spy Universe, it is the first female-led film. Early reviews and response suggest that the film failed to impress the audience due to its weak narrative and stretched plot.

According to a Sacnilk report, the film minted Rs 11.1 crore gross, while in the overseas market, the film opened with Rs 5 crore. This brings the total worldwide gross collection to Rs 16.1 crore on Day 1. Take a look at where the spy thriller stands today.
