Allu Arjun and Atlee’s Raaka Creates a Guinness World Record Before Its Theatrical Premiere

Allu Arjun and Atlee’s “Raaka” has created history, with its name etched in the Guinness World Records for capturing the highest number of people in motion capture in real time, with 37 performers included. This achievement was announced on Monday. The production house, Sun Pictures, took to its official social media timelines to share the achievement with fans and the audience worldwide.

In Feb. 2026, “Raaka” achieved the Guinness World Record. On Sept. 15, it was certified. At a ceremony attended by the film’s key cast and crew, it was presented to actor Allu Arjun and renowned filmmaker Atlee by Swapnil Dangrikar, Senior Adjudicator, Guinness World Records. The production house shared a few pictures on X featuring Atlee and Allu Arjun holding a Guinness World Records certificate. The caption read, “HISTORY MADE. A global triumph that takes Indian cinema to the world stage! Raaka sets a Guinness World Record for the Most People Motion-Captured in Real-Time, with 37 performers captured simultaneously! Allu Arjun and Atlee received the Guinness World Records certificate, marking this historic achievement.”

Reposting the post, actor Allu Arjun wrote, “Feeling truly humbled by this moment. #raaka achieving a Guinness World Record is something very special. So excited for what’s ahead! Atlee garu, this one is special.” The makers unveiled a behind-the-scenes video offering a glimpse into the making of the sequence, including footage of all 37 performers being captured together in real time, which has etched its name in history.
