However, Akanksha, a contestant on Netflix’s Lock Upp season 2, revealed that they are getting divorced after living separately for nearly a year. 

No sooner did the actress open up about her personal life than fans were heartbroken. According to both actors, Gaurav fell in love instantly, while Akanksha took a little longer to be convinced. Over the years, they grew closer. Despite a 9-year gap, the couple shared values, humour and a similar outlook on life. All in all, the news of their separation has left fans disappointed.

During the premiere of Netflix’s Lock Upp Season 2, Akanksha Chamola, a contestant of the reality show, revealed confidential information in front of the audience and hosts Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, sparking a wave of sadness online. She stated, “Gaurav and I are getting a divorce. We have been living separately for the last one year, and it has not been public.” Despite living apart for a year, they continue to communicate. She further added, “Things are not bad between me and Gaurav. We still talk to each other. We don’t think we are compatible as partners because we both see very different futures. And, unfortunately, it’s not with each other,” 

During Bigg Boss 19, Gaurav was seen having a heartfelt conversation with YouTuber Mridul Tiwari. During a candid chat, he spoke about his married life with Akanksha, sharing insights into the choices they have made together as a couple over the years. On the professional front, Gaurav is currently participating in Khatron ke Khiladi 15.
