After Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups Postponed, THIS Romance Drama Seized the Vacant Slot

March 19 was one of the most-anticipated festive windows for Indian cinema with the release of two action-oriented films, namely Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge and Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. However, due to the rising tensions in the Middle East, the makers of Toxic postponed its grand theatrical release to June 4, 2026. For the unversed, the Middle East is one of the key markets for the period drama. 

Considering the empty slot, the makers of Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh locked March 19 as its new release date. Following the same, Kannada film, Love Mocktail 3, too preponed its release. Here are more details on what to expect on March 19.

Kannada Film Love Mocktail 3 to Release on March 19

Kannada romantic drama Love Mocktail 3 was originally scheduled to release on April 10, 2026. However, the makers postponed its release and announced a new date. The development comes after the postponement of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups, starring Yash. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic will hit cinemas on June 4. 

The third installment of Love Mocktail stars Darling Krishna and Milana Nagara in lead roles. Following Power Star’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh’s footsteps, the romance drama also filled the empty slot. KVN Productions, the co-producers of Toxic, will be distributing Love Mocktail 3. The drama is expected to perform well, benefiting from the Ugadi holiday followed by the weekend. According to Cinema Express, the lead actor Krishna confirmed the new release date, saying, “March 19 is too good a date to let go. It’s festive and coincides with a long holiday weekend. Ugadi falls on that day, followed by Ramzan on March 21. It creates a long weekend. For any film, it’s a lucky time.” 

The first part was released in 2020, while Love Mocktail 2 was released in the theatres in 2022. Now, fans await what the third part has in store. Despite talk about Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the makers stated that the film aims at a different market. Love Mocktail 3 is specially crafted for Kannada audiences. Hence, the spot is secure and beneficial. Undoubtedly, the postponement of Toxic prompted the team of Ustaad Bhagat Singh and Love Mocktail 3 to move up their schedule.
