After Salman Khan, Arijit Singh Returns With a New Melody for THIS Superstar After Retirement Announcement

All eyes are on Arijit Singh after the most-loved singer announced his retirement from playback singing. After collaborating with Salman Khan, Arijit Singh has lent his voice to Aamir Khan’s upcoming release Ek Din. The movie starring Sai Pallavi and his son, Junaid Khan, is slated for release on May 1, 2026. The romantic drama marks the Bollywood debut for the South actress, whereas Junaid Khan gradually carves his own space in cinema. The film is positioned as a major summer offering to which fans are desperately looking forward. 

On February 9, Aamir Khan gave the sweetest surprise to fans. He shared a gratitude note for Arijit Singh on social media, thanking him for lending his voice to the film.

Arijit Singh Lends His Voice to Aamir Khan’s Ek Din 

Arijit Singh fans, assemble! Your favorite singer has lent his voice to Aamir Khan’s upcoming project, Ek Din, starring Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan. No sooner did he thank the singer for lending his voice than fans and movie buffs expressed their excitement and curiosity. 

Shortly after Arijit’s announced retirement from Bollywood playback singing, Khan made a surprise visit to the singer’s largely private ancestral home in Jiaganj, West Bengal. The visit sparked speculation about a possible collaboration or Aamir’s attempt to convince Arijit to reconsider. 

On February 9, Aamir Khan Productions shared a picture of Aamir and Arijit on their Instagram account. While Aamir is showing Arijit something on his phone, the singer is seen concentrating while holding a guitar. The caption read, “Thank you, Arijit, for lending your voice to our film, Ek Din. The 4 days spent with you, your family, and your team felt magical.” Now, fans await more details of Arijit Singh’s song. Earlier, the makers of Shahid Kapoor’s O’Romeo released the new song track sung by Arijit Singh, and after a week, Salman Khan dropped the teaser of a fresh love song titled ‘Tere Sang’ from Echoes Of Us, starring Iulia Vantur.
