72nd National Film Awards Complete Winner List: Yami Gautam, Aditya Dhar, Kartik Aryan Win Big

The 72nd National Film Awards were held yesterday at Ekta Nagar in Gujarat. This was the first time the ceremony was held outside Delhi. The awards recognized films certified by the Central Board of Film Certification between 1 January and 31 December 2024. It included feature films, non-feature films, and writing on cinema. The event was attended by celebrated personalities, writers, and directors who were honoured for standout films across multiple languages and their work. 

Yami Gautam received the Best Actress honour for her acclaimed performance in Article 370, while her husband, Aditya Dhar, took home the Best Feature Film award for the same film. Other winners who won big were Rajkummar Rao-starrer Srikanth, which was named Best Hindi Feature Film. Kartik Aaryan received his first National Award, sharing the Best Actor trophy with Malayalam superstar Mammootty. An 11-member jury chaired by filmmaker Jayaraj selected the winners.
