From Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt’s “7 Dogs” to Hollywood’s much-awaited film, “Insidious: Out of the Further,” the buzz around the upcoming films has been escalating. New Films and OTT Releases This Week

  1. 7 Dogs

Featuring Ahmed Ezz, Karim Abdel Aziz, Monica Bellucci, Tara Emad, Sandy Bella, Max Huang, Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, and Nasser Al-Qasabi in pivotal roles, “7 Dogs” will be arriving in cinemas on Aug. 21, 2026. It revolves around a bad deed centered around an international crime and a dangerous threat that is about to spread across the Middle East. 

  1. Welcome To The Jungle 

Headlined by a stellar cast including Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Disha Patani, Raveena Tandon, Jacqueliene Fernandez, and more, “Welcome to the Jungle” is geared up for its OTT debut on Aug 21, 2026, exclusively on JioHotstar. It is the third instalment in the beloved Welcome franchise, coming a decade after the 2015 comedy movie, Welcome Back.

  1. Insidious: Out of the Further

Starring Amelia Eve, Brandon Perea, and Lin Shaye, “Insidious: Out of the Further” is all set to hit the theatres on Aug 21, 2026. It follows the saga of a young mother raising her daughter in the house she grew up in, who discovers she can travel into The Further, the purgatorial realm of lost souls at the heart of the Insidious universe.

  1. Mutiny

Helmed by Jean-François Richet, “Mutiny” is an action thriller led by Jason Statham, Annabelle Wallis, Adrian Lester, Roland Møller, Arnas Fedaravicius, Ramon Tikaram, and Jason Wong. Set to arrive in cinema halls on Aug 21, it follows the story of a former Special Forces operative who is forced on the run after being framed for a billionaire’s demise.
