UGC NET December 2025 Exam Dates Released: Check Out the Full Subject-Wise Exam Schedule

NTA has released the subject-wise schedule for the UGC NET exam commencing in December 2025. It will start from December 31, 2025 and continue till January 7, 2026.

UGC-NET is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for the Award of Junior Research Fellowship, appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to PhD, appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to PhD only in Indian universities and colleges, according to the reports.

The UGC NET December 2025 test will be administered in two daily shifts, as stated in the announcement made on December 17. The first shift will take place between 9 am to 12 pm and the second shift will occur between 3 pm to 6 pm. The test will be administered online for over 80 topics.
