State Bank Of India Invites Applications for 1,538 Junior Associate Posts, Check Full Details

The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the SBI Clerk (Junior Associate) 2026 notification for 1,538 Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) positions. Applications can be submitted online by qualified individuals from August 7 to August 27, 2026, using the SBI Careers website.

Under this recruitment effort, applicants may apply for positions in only one State or Union Territory (UT) and are only permitted to take the recruitment exam once. Additionally, candidates must be fluent in the local language of the State or UT to which they are applying.

Selection Process

• Preliminary Examination
• Main Examination
• Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)

The Preliminary Examination is currently planned for September 2026, and the Main Examination is anticipated for October/November 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

As of April 1, 2026, candidates must:

1. Be at least 20 years old.
2. Not be more than 28 years old.
3. Applicants must have been born between April 2, 1998, and April 1, 2006 (both dates inclusive).

According to SBI standards, the upper age restriction can be loosened. Candidates must pay the required application fee using a debit card, credit card or internet banking, fill out the application form carefully, upload the necessary papers and finish the registration process.
