SBI Notification Out for Apprentice Posts, Invites Over 7,150 Applications

If you are looking for a solid bank staff role, then SBI has opened up more than 7,150 apprentice positions as per the latest notification. This is an excellent opportunity for the graduates. The State Bank of India has opened the application window for 7,150 apprentice posts across the country. This process begins on Tuesday, May 19 and the last date for the application of this process is June 8.

You can go to the SBI website for the application process. The age limit for the position is minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years. Age relaxation for candidates from reserved categories will be available in accordance with government regulations. Applicants for the apprenticeship roles must have earned a graduation degree from a reputable university or college in any field.

As per the SBI, candidates who qualify for the online written exam will also have to appear for the local language proficiency test for the state from which they have applied. Also, applicants must be able to read, write and speak and understand the specified local language, as stated above. Upon failure in the examination, the bank has clarified that the candidates will not be considered for the final selection.

Exam Process: 

There will be an exam carrying 100 objective type questions with one mark each. It will be a written exam. The duration of the exam will be one hour. There is a negative marking system. For each incorrect response, one-fourth of a mark will be taken off. Exam paper consists of General Awareness, Mathematics, English Language and Reasoning Ability.
