Pocket Money is now new on Google Pay. Primary users can use this feature to manage secondary users’ spending in Google Pay’s UPI Circle by establishing transaction limits and payment approvals. With Pocket Money on UPI Circle, Google Pay enables users to assist their loved ones in making UPI transactions even if they don’t have a bank account.

What is the mechanism for using UPI Circle to access pocket money?

You must have an active bank account on Google Pay in order to be a primary user. You can add no more than five secondary users. Make sure the number of the secondary user is saved in your phone contacts before adding them to your UPI circle. Their phone number is associated with their Google Pay app. They have a UPI ID or a UPI Circle QR.

What steps should I take to activate the pocket money function in Gpay?

Visit UPI Circle in the Google Pay app. Locate the name or phone number of the secondary user by searching. Scan the UPI Circle QR code of the chosen contact and configure the approval parameters. You can either choose to approve each transaction or, if you choose option 1, establish a monthly limit and then set a favorite monthly limit. Include more information for a secondary user, such as their relationship, government identification number, etc. Select their bank account for them, then click invite. You must input your UPI PIN in order to send an invitation.
