Now, one customer has won everybody’s respect. He gave a Rs. 501 tip to a delivery agent on New Year’s Eve. Where his emotional reply will make your day.
The customer stated in a social media post that has since gone viral that they knew their order might arrive late when they placed it at about 8:30 PM. The delivery agent seemed stressed when he arrived 90 minutes later because he still had 30 more orders to complete.
The customer began to think, “Even on the last day of the year, when the majority of people are enjoying the holiday, here we have a young guy delivering with a smile.” The consumer tweeted on X, “Making sure everyone gets a nice meal.”
“I gave him some water and told him to take a minute to breathe. He smiled and continued on with the next delivery. I know the majority of them by name,” the customer wrote.
I ordered a simple meal tonight on EatClub at 8.34 PM. I knew it was New Years Night & orders will be packed. The order came by 10 PM. The delivery boy Bittu was so tensed. Later, as a sign of affection for his family and in honor of the approaching New Year, the client used the app to obtain his phone number and send him Rs. 501 through UPI. Moved by the act, the agent WhatsApped the customer to express his gratitude, saying that the funds may be used to pay for his fuel costs.
“Mujhe petrol ke liye paisa ho gaya (this will help in paying for petrol), Very very, thank you so much, sir,” he said. “These agents are our heroes. They deserve everything because they make our lives easier. No job is small.” The post continued, “They are an essential part of our everyday lives.”
