Never Worked a 9 to 5, Changed Careers 6 Times, Travelled Europe: Woman’s Unique Journey Inspires

A woman from Rajasthan shared her inspiring career transition journey. She said that she never worked for a 9 to 5 job and also changed careers six times. Also, she has travelled across Europe and is now living happily on her own terms.

Himani Mittal, claims she has always appreciated the ability to make her own choices and financial freedom. She established a profession via online work and chose to remain single. She does not come from any wealthy family. Even though she was still learning Spanish, she began teaching it at the age of 21, determined to gain that independence.

She decided to move her employment online at the age of 23, when the COVID-19 pandemic first broke out. She was able to keep earning while looking into new prospects. She said that she moved to Spain at 25 after earning her master’s degree in filmmaking. She moved there to teach English and remained in the country for three years. She also travelled across Europe.

She claimed that the experience gave her a better grasp of what it means to lead a free life. Three months ago, she moved to Kerala after moving to Delhi last year. She advises people to cease comparing their lives to those of others and to make decisions that are appropriate for them.
