Many corporate workers travel to the office from their home, where the journey is not easy, but it takes long hours of the day to just commute. Recently, a story went viral where a commuter from Mumbai explains how commuting from his home to the office is so exhausting.

The employee reveals his salary and shares the experience of a long hour commute and says these two things feel unrelatable to each other. While getting Rs. 35,000 per month and traveling with consuming so much time just to reach office is making the employee feel exhausted.

The employee stated in the post that they were weary of all the travel since they reside in Badlapur and had to take local trains and autos all the way to Goregaon. The user stated that they were tired because they got up at 5 am, left the house 90 minutes later and arrived at the office about 10 am.

“I am tired of this travelling. I wake up at 5 am, leave home around 6.30 am, board the local train from Badlapur station at 7.15 am, reach Dadar, board a train on the western line, reach Goregaon station and from there stand in a shared rickshaw queue for 30 mins every day and then finally reach office. I reach the office around 10. I leave the office around 7 pm and reach home in Badlapur by 11 pm. This is my daily routine for every day only on Sundays, I have a holiday,” he explained.

“I tried looking for PG nearby office but most of them are expensive and cheaper ones are very unhygienic. I can’t afford to rent a place there, as my salary is only Rs. 35,000 monthly,” he said. “Imagine spending 6 hours traveling every day. I come home only to sleep at night,” he mentioned further.
