The car’s profile is the same as the prior model, as per the reports. However, it currently features a slightly updated design for the projector LED headlamps with DRLs. Additionally, the bumper has a new design, as does the front grille. The back of the premium hatchback is quite similar to the prior model and it now sports a shark fin antenna. While the side profile is the same, it features a new set of 16 inch alloy wheels.

The Swift and Dzire previously had the 1.2 litre Z series engine, which is now included in the new Baleno. It comes with the choice of automated or manual gearbox. Additionally, an automatic transmission CNG version is now available from the brand. The car has been introduced to the Indian market by Maruti Suzuki with an initial ex-showroom price of Rs. 6.10 lakh.

In addition, the Indian automaker is enhancing the car’s safety by installing six airbags and a set of Level 2 ADAS features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep aid, lane departure avoidance, lane departure warning, high beam assist and front collision warning, according to reports.
