EPFO to Automate the Process For Settling PF Withdrawal Claims? Here Is What You Need To Know
Now, there will be no more waiting as EPFO automate the process for settling PF withdrawal claims, according to the reports. After this update, the process can be easier than before.
Central Provident Fund Commissioner, EPFO, Ramesh Krishnamurthi, stated at the ASSOCHAM’s National Seminar on New Labour Codes, “We are also going to initiate, as far as feasible, auto settlement for now, which was exclusively used for advances. We are now seeking automated settlement of last withdrawals”, reported by TOI.
On May 8, the government had already notified the four new labor codes. According to Krishnamurthi, the upcoming notifications that are exclusively related to the EPFO will be released soon.
In reference to fully operationalizing four labor codes by publishing rules under those, he said that a significant effort has been made to simplify, codify and standardize definitions and other phrases.
Process for PF Withdrawals Claims:
Submitting a Composite Claim Form (Aadhaar or Non-Aadhaar) through the EPFO UAN website, making sure KYC is completed and choosing the right form (19 for final settlement, 10C for pension and 31 for advance) are all necessary steps in settling a PF withdrawal claim.
