Mercedes Benz has introduced a new car. In India, Mercedes Benz has brought back the CLA nameplate, this time in the form of an all electric vehicle.
Among the standout features are high end trim elements throughout the dashboard and center console, touch sensitive steering controls, automatic climate control, a fixed panoramic glass roof and heated and motorized front seats with memory capabilities.
The Mercedes Benz CLA 200 variant, which has a range of 542 km on a single charge, has been introduced for the Indian market. Conversely, the CLA 250+ model has a driving range of 792 kilometers on a single charge. This version has a rear mounted electric motor producing around 268 horsepower and 335 Newton meters of torque, as well as an 85 kWh battery.
After the discontinuation of its internal combustion engine (ICE) variant in 2020, the CLA is now back. In addition to the EQA and EQB in the range, the electric CLA is now the brand’s entry-level sedan, taking the position of the A-Class Limousine. For the CLA 200 model, the premium sedan is priced at Rs. 55 lakh (ex-showroom). The ex-showroom price for the CLA 250+ model, on the other hand, is Rs. 59 lakh. The car is also available in a Launch edition for Rs. 64 lakh (ex-showroom).
